Anaesthesiology is a branch of Medicine that specializes in minimising pain and keeping the patient in stable condition both during and after surgical procedures.

Department of Anaesthesiology at M.V.J

The Department of Anaesthesiology provides round-the-clock services in the OTs, the Intensive Care Units, the Casualty Department as well as Radiology. With a fully furnished facility for pre-anesthetic and post-anesthetic care, the Department will soon be expanding its services by providing, Pain Management Services and Resuscitation Training Programmes.

Apart from imparting high quality medical education to the medical students, the faculty of this Department is actively involved in research work as well as training of Para Medical Staff.

24 hours casualty and Emergency treatment facilities with faculty on duty round the clock along with other Junior and Senior Doctors supporting the emergency services.
