Department of Casualty (Accident and Emergency) at M.V.J

Accident and Emergency (Casualty) Department has 20 beds for triaging and managing cases. All the beds are supported with monitoring devices and have facility for resuscitation, and minor OT for minor surgical procedures.

There is an emergency OT in the same complex for taking care of surgical emergencies needing advanced surgical care. The department has faculty from all the departments on round the clock duty, supported by Intern’s and senior doctors.

The Casualty department has sufficient number of equipment’s, X-ray room and therapeutic equipment in the form of Ventilators, Defibrillators and centralized oxygen system. It is responsible for all Medico legal cases of the Hospital.The Casualty department conducts regular training of undergraduates & interns.
